The Fall moon shines bright

Mother Nature dries the bed

just a winter nap

This Haiku relates closely to the intial illustrative intent of this paintings creation, i.e., the painting was created as an entry into the Syracuse Poster project for 2020. Although quite whisical, the painting has its basis in reality, as I recall on numerous occasions my wife hanging clothes in the moonight as Angel (our cat) rubbed on her legs. Ecologically speaking, the yearly ritual of leaves drying in Autumn, provides the bed that protects all Gods little creatures through the winter snow and cold.
